Magnolia Supper Club occupies a restored downtown bungalow with a wraparound porch and ceiling fans that never stop. Ruthie Caldwell’s fried chicken is the signature, served with mac and cheese that still has a breadcrumb lid. Sunday lunch feels like a reunion; Saturday nights lean date-night with pecan pie and bourbon. It is proud Arkansas cooking without the tourist chalkboard jokes.
